Sorrento East

Sorrento East is a beautiful deed restricted community located in Nokomis, Florida consisting of about 700 homes, condominiums and villas.   Founded in 1966 it is home to five units of single-family homes and four condominium sections surrounded by mature foliage, lakes and wildlife.  

The name "Sorrento" came from the original owner of the land, who was fond of the town in Italy.  He also loved painting and started to name street after well-known artists.

Central to downtown Venice, our beautiful beaches, I-75, shopping as well as Oscar Scherer Park.
